Where these numbers come from
Every day, our tracker runs the same searches a traveller would — real dates, real vehicles — across every rental company we compare, and records the daily rate each one quotes in euros. Discounts and sold-out results are recorded too, which is how the guides can talk about genuine deals and how quickly a month sells out.
Each guide then reports the median and the typical middle-of-the-market range from a recent window of those checks, broken down by camper type, month, season, and company. Medians ignore outliers, so one luxury motorhome or one stripped-down wreck doesn't distort the picture.
These pages are for planning. When you're ready to book, the live search queries every company in real time for your exact dates — prices there are quotes, not averages.
