With Webasto heater
CampEasy's website menu lists nine campers. Their booking engine rents nineteen, and our own search results show all nineteen, which is how most people first meet names like "Easy Small EXP" with nothing to explain them. This page catalogues the lot: one entry per camper, the chassis it is built on, and the numbers CampEasy publish for it.
The gap between nine and nineteen is mostly the EXP line. Seven of the campers here are offered twice — once as a vehicle CampEasy describe as 0–3 years old, and once as an EXP listing on the same conversion aged 3–6 years. The published spec sheets for a pair are identical down to the fuel figure, the bed dimensions and the crockery count; the difference is the age of the van under it. That matters because CampEasy market the whole fleet on being new, a claim their own pages qualify the moment you look at an EXP page. Eleven listings are the young ones, seven are EXP, and the nineteenth is the Easy 9 Seater, which is a nine-seat minibus rather than a camper.
The heater is the number that usually decides an Iceland trip, and CampEasy are unusually consistent here: sixteen of the eighteen campers have a Webasto that runs off the leisure battery for eight to ten hours without idling the engine, so you can park anywhere and sleep warm. The two exceptions are the Teslas, which heat the cabin from the drive battery — that works anywhere too, but it is range you then cannot drive.
Nine campers are F-road classified. Eight of those nine — everything except the Tesla Camper Y 4x4 — also appear on CampEasy's list of vehicles allowed to cross rivers with the extra insurance bought. Driving an unclassified camper on an F-road carries a 200,000 ISK fine under their rental terms, so it is a line worth reading rather than guessing at.
Two things are refreshingly simple. Nothing here has a rental season: every camper, including both Teslas and the five-berth vans, is offered year-round, so a December search returns the same catalogue as a July one. And the minimum driver age is 20 across the whole fleet, with a licence held for at least twelve months — no separate, older threshold for the 4x4s.
There are no prices on this page, deliberately. CampEasy's rates move with season, trip length and how far ahead you book, so any number typed here would be wrong within a week. Every camper links straight into a live search that puts its real price next to the other Icelandic rental companies for the same dates.

"F-roads" is CampEasy's own classification for that vehicle, not a statement about conditions — highland routes still open and close by season and weather, and their terms fine unclassified campers 200,000 ISK for driving one. "Night heating" is a Webasto on every camper except the two Teslas, which heat from the drive battery instead — warm anywhere, at the cost of range. "Rented" is All year for every camper: CampEasy publish no seasonal window on any of them. A model showing as unavailable on your dates is a fleet-size problem, not a closed season. EXP listings are the same conversion on a 3–6-year-old vehicle rather than an 0–3-year-old one. CampEasy publish identical spec sheets for each pair, so the rows below match exactly; treat the age band as the difference. Bed widths on the Easy Small and Easy Ranger are quoted twice because the bed tapers — the wider figure is at the torso, the narrower one at your feet.
Compact, two-berth
VW Caddy Maxi conversions, front-wheel drive: the cheapest way into the fleet and the easiest thing here to park in Reykjavík or thread down a single-track road. You sleep in them rather than live in them — 1.8 m tall means no standing, and the bed narrows at your feet.
Easy Small
The cheapest bed in the fleet

VW Caddy Maxi — 4.85 m, front-wheel drive
A front-wheel-drive VW Caddy Maxi and the smallest camper CampEasy rent: 4.85 m long, 1.8 m tall, with a bench that folds into a 195 cm bed, a wooden galley holding a single travel stove, a sink with running water from a 16-litre tank and a compressor fridge. Despite the size it gets the same Webasto heater, wool insulation and information tablet as the big vans, and at 7 L/100 km it is the cheapest thing here to fuel.

Watch out
The bed tapers from 115 cm at your shoulders to 97 cm at your feet, so two adults sleep shoulder-to-shoulder, and at 1.8 m tall there is no standing up inside. Luggage is quoted as one small and one large bag.

Easy Small EXP
The same Caddy, a few years older

Same Caddy Maxi shell, three to six years old
CampEasy's EXP listing of the Easy Small, on a VW Caddy Maxi they describe as three to six years old rather than under three. The published spec sheet is identical to the standard car — same 123 hp 2.0 TDI, same 7 L/100 km, same 195 cm tapering bed, same Webasto, same wool insulation, same single travel stove and 16-litre water tank. What you are buying with the lower rate is an older van.

Watch out
Same tapering bed and same 1.8 m roof as the standard Small, on a vehicle CampEasy themselves place in a 3–6-year band — which is worth remembering when you read their fleet-wide "never more than three years old" marketing.

Mid-size, three-berth
VW Transporter conversions with a proper interior: a 190 × 166 cm bed, a bench and table you can sit at while it rains, a sink with running water and a wooden galley in the back. Same van twice, separated only by the gearbox — and then each of those offered again as an EXP.
Easy Auto
Automatic Transporter, three berths

VW Transporter — 5.3 m, front-wheel drive
A front-wheel-drive VW Transporter with a DSG automatic gearbox and the conversion most CampEasy customers end up in: a 190 × 166 cm bed across the back, a bench and pedestal table to sit at, a wooden galley with a sink, running water from a 16-litre tank, a compressor fridge and a travel stove. 110 hp, 8 L/100 km, and a Webasto CampEasy rate at eight to ten hours.

Two adults who want room to sit out a rainy afternoon indoors, or a couple plus a child, without learning to drive a manual on Icelandic gravel.
Watch out
Front-wheel drive and not F-road classified, so the highlands are out. Three people fit the bed only in the sense that 166 cm is wide enough for three shoulders — it is a genuine two-plus-one.

Easy Auto EXP

The EXP listing of the Easy Auto: the same VW Transporter conversion with the same DSG automatic, the same 110 hp engine, the same 190 × 166 cm bed and the same galley, on a vehicle CampEasy place in a three-to-six-year band. Easy Fun
The manual version of the Easy Auto

VW Transporter — 5.3 m, manual, front-wheel drive
Mechanically the Easy Auto with a manual gearbox: the same front-wheel-drive VW Transporter, the same 110 hp 2.0 TDI, the same 8 L/100 km, the same 190 × 166 cm bed, bench, table, sink and wooden galley. CampEasy list it as the cheaper of the pair, and it is the one their own road-trip film was shot in.

Watch out
A manual on Icelandic gravel and in Reykjavík traffic is a real consideration if you normally drive an automatic; the Easy Auto is the same van for more money. Front-wheel drive, so no F-roads.

Easy Fun EXP

Same manual gearbox, same 110 hp engine, same 8 L/100 km from a 70-litre tank, same 190 × 166 cm bed, same galley with running water and a compressor fridge. Three-berth space on the tightest budget, for drivers who are happy with a manual and unbothered by a few extra years on the clock.
Watch out
It is the oldest and cheapest way to get the Transporter interior, which also makes it the listing most likely to be sold out first. Front-wheel drive, no F-roads.

Large, five-berth
The Ford Transit, and the only camper here that genuinely sleeps a family: two double beds, a living-room layout in the back and 90 litres of diesel. It is also front-wheel drive and barred from F-roads, so the highlands are off the table.
Easy Big
Two double beds and a living room

Ford Transit — 6 m long, 2.4 m wide
The family camper: a 6 m Ford Transit with an automatic gearbox, five belted seats and five berths across two doubles — a 190 × 162 cm bed low down and a 180 × 162 cm bunk above it. The back is laid out as a living room with facing bench seats and a table, and it carries a Webasto, wool insulation, a sink with running water, a compressor fridge and air conditioning. A 90-litre tank at 8.5 L/100 km gives it the longest legs here.

Best for
Four or five people who need two real double beds and somewhere to eat indoors, on a Ring Road or south-coast trip.
Watch out
Front-wheel drive and not F-road classified, so the highlands are closed to it. At 2.4 m wide and 2.5 m tall it is the widest and second-tallest camper in the fleet, which is felt on single-lane bridges and in car parks. CampEasy's walkthrough for it was filmed in 2019, so the Transit on screen is an older one than you will collect — the five-berth layout still matches the current spec sheet.

Watch out
CampEasy publish one photo gallery for both Big listings, so the images here are the same vehicle set as the standard Easy Big — there is no separate photography of the older van. Front-wheel drive, no F-roads.

4x4 campers, F-roads allowed
Everything CampEasy will let you take into the highlands, from a 4.85 m Caddy to a 6.97 m Sprinter on 35-inch tyres. All eight are cleared for river crossings too if you buy the extra insurance, all eight have a Webasto, and all eight are rented year-round.
Easy Monster 4x4
The biggest 4x4 CampEasy build

Mercedes-Benz Sprinter — 6.97 m, 3 m tall
A Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 319 on 35-inch tyres with 102 cm of ride height — 6.97 m long and a full 3 m tall, the largest vehicle in the fleet by every dimension. Inside it is the most equipped too: a 200 × 140 cm master bed plus a 177 × 110 cm single, a built-in stove top in the wooden galley, two compressor fridges, a 3,000 W sinus inverter, a coffee machine, a TV, a dedicated router and LTE roof antenna, heated seats, steering wheel and windshield.

Watch out
13.5 L/100 km is the thirstiest figure in the fleet, and 3 m of height rules out some car parks, ferries and drive-throughs entirely. It is also a 6.97 m vehicle on Iceland's single-lane bridges.

14 L/100 km out of an 80-litre tank gives it the shortest range in the fleet — shorter than the thirstier Monster, which carries 93 litres. Plan fuel stops in the east and the Westfjords accordingly.

Easy Viking 4x4
Five seats, five berths, F-roads

The roof rack doubles as a viewing platform
The only camper CampEasy will take into the highlands with five people in it: a shorter 6 m VW Crafter 4x4 with a 200 × 174 cm bed downstairs and a 193 × 160 cm bunk above, five belted seats, a roof rack doubling as a viewing platform, a roof ladder and a mounted spare. Two travel stoves, a compressor fridge, running water and crockery for six.

A family or group of up to five who want Landmannalaugar and the Westfjords' rougher tracks rather than just the Ring Road.
Watch out
Five berths, but the upper bunk has 45 cm of headroom and luggage is quoted as three small and two large bags for five people. At 12.2 L/100 km it is also the cheapest of the three big 4x4s to run.

Easy Clever 4x4
F-road access in a normal-sized van

VW Transporter 4x4 — 5.3 m, 83 cm ride height
The Easy Auto's VW Transporter with 4x4 drive, 30-inch tyres, 83 cm of ride height, a roof rack and ladder and a bottom-mounted spare — 150 hp instead of 110, and F-road classified. Inside it is the familiar Transporter conversion: 190 × 164 cm bed, bench and pedestal table, sink with running water, compressor fridge and a travel stove, all under a Webasto.

Best for
Two or three people who want highland access without moving up to a six-metre van — at 5.3 m it parks and handles like the front-wheel-drive Transporters.
Watch out
The bed is 190 cm long, five short of the little Ranger's, and three people share 164 cm of width. CampEasy also publish no walkthrough video on this listing — the only Easy Clever film sits on the older EXP page.

Easy Clever 4x4 EXP
The cheapest way onto an F-road

Same 4x4 Transporter, older vehicle
The EXP listing of the Easy Clever, on a VW Transporter 4x4 CampEasy describe as three to six years old. Same 150 hp DSG drivetrain, same 30-inch tyres and 83 cm ride height, same 190 × 164 cm bed, same galley, same Webasto, same F-road and river-crossing permissions — typically the least expensive camper in the fleet that is allowed into the highlands at all.

Two or three people whose trip depends on F-road access and who would rather spend the saving on the river-crossing insurance upgrade.
Watch out
CampEasy's walkthrough for this camper was filmed in 2018, so the van on screen is an earlier Transporter than the one you will collect — the layout, seat count and berth count still match the current spec sheet.

Easy Ranger 4x4
The smallest F-road camper here

VW Caddy Maxi 4x4 — 4.85 m, roof rack and ladder
The Easy Small's VW Caddy Maxi with all-wheel drive, 77 cm of ride height, a roof rack and ladder and a mounted spare on the back door — 4.85 m long, F-road classified and cleared for river crossings with the insurance upgrade. At 7 L/100 km it is as cheap to fuel as the two-wheel-drive version, which makes it the least expensive highland camper to run by a wide margin.

Electric Tesla conversions
Two Tesla Model Ys with a thick mattress where the boot floor was, a fridge and a cooking kit — but no built-in kitchen and no running water, because CampEasy spent the space on the bed and expect you to use campsite kitchens. Silent, cheap to charge in Iceland, and the only campers here without a Webasto.
Tesla Camper Y 4x4
A raised Model Y with a bed in the back

Tesla Model Y, raised to 83 cm
A 2023 Tesla Model Y Long Range raised to 83 cm on larger tyres and F-road classified, with a thick custom mattress where the boot floor was: 200 × 115 cm under a tinted glass roof, a magnetic blackout blind system, a 14-litre Dometic compressor fridge and a cooking kit stowed beneath the bed. 515 hp from the quad-motor drivetrain, 77.8 kWh and up to 483 km on a charge. CampEasy publish a running-cost comparison putting it at roughly a seventh of a diesel camper's daily fuel bill.

Best for
Two people who want silence, cheap charging and a genuinely different Iceland trip, and who are happy to cook at campsite kitchens.
Watch out
There is no built-in kitchen and no running water — CampEasy took the space for the bed and expect you to use campsite cooking facilities, so check your campsites have them. It also carries no spare tyre, and although it is F-road classified it is deliberately left off CampEasy's river-crossing list. Overnight cabin heat comes out of the drive battery, which is range you cannot then drive.

Tesla CAMPING Y
The same conversion at standard ride height

Standard ride height, 77 cm
The second of CampEasy's two Tesla conversions: the same 2023 Model Y, the same 515 hp quad-motor all-wheel drive, the same 77.8 kWh battery and 483 km range, and the same 200 × 115 cm bed, fridge and cooking kit. The difference is underneath — 77 cm of ride height on standard wheels rather than 83 cm on larger ones, which is why CampEasy do not classify it for F-roads. It does gain a tow hitch.

Two people doing the Ring Road and the paved south coast who want the electric experience and do not need highland permission.
Watch out
Not F-road classified, so it is the one Tesla that stays on made roads — and like its raised sibling it has no kitchen, no running water and no spare tyre. CampEasy's gallery for it is 41 photographs of the car driving and not one of the bed made up, so the three below are exterior shots; the interior is the same conversion as the Camper Y 4x4 above.
